Tryphena flew out to Los Angeles and represented our lab at the American Society of Microbiology meeting, presenting her findings over the weekend on the microbiome during malaria infection. P. knowlesi malaria expert Mariko Peterson was in the audience and expressed that Tryphena’s talk was fascinating and that she did awesome. Way to go Tryphena!
